MixMeister
MixMeister is a different than a lot of DJ software currently on the market. There are no “virtual dj turntables” or on-screen cd players. Mixmeister renders the digital files with timelines on the screen. You’re able to tweak any part of your mix in these timelines and perfect your mix before burning it to a cd, playing it “live,” or streaming it over the internet.
Mixmeister currently comes in four different flavors for DJ’s and producers to choose from: MixMeister Express, MixMeister Studio, MixMeister Fusion, and MixMeister Fusion + Video.

This software works the bomb with Evolution UC33e controller for live but where it shines is perfecting mixes before releasing them. Mixing parameters are so ultra-tweakable and all tweaks are saved so when you listen back to a mix, if you hear too much bass on track 2 too early, go back in and turn it down to your liking. It’s easily the best DJ software for pre-release mixing. Though i would say VDJ is prolly the best for lappy dj’s who play out.
Rich true, I hope VDJ adds a sequencer style view like in Ableton & Mixmeister so you can go back in time and perfect the mix.
i got the studio and fusion version of this. it’s also kool to work and to remix. i like the linear layout/interface. similar to live, which i love so much when performing live!!! nice ^_^
