Numark Cue
Numark CUE is the flagship DJ software of Numark Industries, but is it the best out there? Currently, Numark is bundling the software with it’s Virtual Vinyl System, but it is also available as an independent program.

Numark claims that this DJ software is club tested and professional level. You are able to monitor your mix through headphones and visually on screen, and then output it to a club’s video and sound system. CUE also has built in broadcast abilities to podcast your DJ set on the web.
DJ’s can also be VJ’s with CUE’s built in video transitions and effects. CUE also plays CD+G files for Karakoke. You can mix, scratch, juggle, and sample audio and video files without all of the fancy hardware.
Here are some other features of Numark CUE
- Mix both audio and video files
- Multiple user interfaces for various mixing styles
- Auto BPM detection
- Built in effects, add VST plugins, creat beatmatched samples and loops on the fly
- Visual waveform overlay of beats
- Works with Numark’s iCDX, standard MIDI controllers, multi-channel sound cards, USB mixers, and built in audio cards
- Compatible with most audio and video file formats
- The ultimate Karaoke player
- Built in visual output for audio files
- 12 bank sample and loop control
- Slide show option
- Automated mixing show
I never really even considered purchasing this DJ Software, since I already have Serato Scratch Live, but after researching it a little bit, I’m intrigued. It might be nice to have now that I am thinking about supplementing my income with Karaoke. And another nice thing is that you can download a trial version here.
Is Numark CUE, the best DJ software? Probably not. But it just might be most universal.

Help! I am running M70 laptop based system, PCDJ Red, Altos active speakers, Numark DMUSB 950 mixer-sound quality is superb. I downloaded Numark Cue Trial. It does everything I want, but the sound quality is distorted. Is this cos it’s the Trial Version. I don’t want to spend 200 GBP if the full version is no better
I guess it doesn’t really matter but Cue isn’t really an original product, it’s just Numark’s branded version of Virtual DJ. Check these screenshots:

That said, its beat-matching capabilities are amazing. So far, it blows the doors of Traktor. The interface is cheap looking, especially compared to blockbusters like Torq or Serrato but the functionality is definitely there. If you’re just mixing tracks and not using a ton of effects, this is the program to have.
Yeah This is VDJ Pro with less features I believe, I doubt you can change skins to better ones or use any hardware controller you want like in VDJ Pro.
I HAVE CUE LE WITH THE TRAKTOR SOFTWARE FOR THE NUMARK CONTROL TABLE I HAVE HALF THE STUFF TO CARRY N CAN DO WHATEVER ANYBODY ELSE DOES W THERE EQUIPMENT SOUND QUALITY IS GREAT AND I HAVE NO PROBLEMS WHAT SO EVER I RUN THE PROGRAM FOR 8 HRS STRAIGHT NO GLITCHES…
