PCDJ DEX

One of the latest DJ software releases is DEX by PCDJ. With it’s slick looking interface, and the optional PCDJ Red looking skin, PCDJ looks to be one hot product. Along with a list of impressive features, PCDJ DEX also supports a long list of hardware choices. PCDJ DAC-3, DENON DN-HC4500, Behringer BCD-2000, Hercules DJ Console (Regular, Mk2, Control MP3), Vestax VCI-100, and EKS XP10 are all capable of controlling the software. PCDJ DEX can also be used along with FinalScratch, VirtualDJ, SSL and MsPinky digital vinyl records. Any other MIDI controller can also be used to control the software.
PCDJ DEX also has a very advanced BPM detection that will help you synchronize your tracks. It’s very easy to set a cue-point and start your song exactly wher you want. Beat-matching two tracks is also made easier by using the virtual record to speed a song up or down.

how do we get it?
websites??
You can get it at http://www.pcdj.com
Love this title deff worth the money!
not so friendly user…
it is very good
I hope it will be good either
its almost the same djdecks
Just downloaded the trial demo it seems pretty good so far. Im using it with the Hercules RMX controller and it supported it right out of the box. It scanned the music pretty fast detecting bpm really well. The interface is nice and intuitive. Ill keep playing with it and post back in a few days
Ok played around with it for a while. I like the native Hercules RMX DJ controller support. It worked great with hardly any noticeable lag in controls. It scans the music wave form really fast with hardly any impact on my computers performance. Plus the skin is beautiful and well made. Only dislikes i have is sometimes ill have weird distorted crackle sound in my cue for headphones. Sounded like my headphones were blown. But it only does it once in a while.Virtual dj i never had this problem and still dont.I also have a problem with the music browser and how it only writes the BPM to the mp3 id tag after scanning each individual song. So no right click scan all. And it only puts the BPM tag in after you close out of the program >.
The interface is too busy, there is a lot of unnecessary functions, good for bedroom use but not enough for professional use. I will stick to traktor and virtual dj for now.
DJ Chris!
I enjoyed the writings above.
My question is ; why you use both Traktor an Virtual dj togetehr? Both are not perfect for your purpose? Or you just enjoy both?
Please make me clear.
Thanks!
I’M USING PCDJ DEX WITH BEHRINGER BCD 2000 CONTROLLER. SO FAR, SO GOOD WITH FUNCTIONALITY BUT, I CAN’T CUE UP TRACKS SEPERATELY WHILE MIXING! I.E. IF A SONG IS PLAYING IN DECK-A AND CROSSFADER IS ON DECK-A, WHEN I HIT DECK-B…NOTHING!!! I GET IN MY PHONES JUST WHAT IS PLAYING IN PROGRAM. (HEARING MASTER OUTPUT IN PHONES SAME AS ACTUAL OUTPUT) I’VE GONE THROUGH EVERY SETTING IN THE SOFTWARE…NO FIXING IT…ANY HELP WOULD GREATLY BE APPRECIATED! THX, DJ RU$H
